A huge congratulations to the parents who completed our first Baby Steps programme yesterday.

Mums and dads-to-be joined us for 6 sessions from September to November, then returned to finish the final three sessions with their little ones at the end of January.

This programme help parents to prepare for the birth and arrival of their baby and covers topics such as baby’s development, what can change for parents and those around them, giving birth, getting to know your baby and caring for yourself and your baby.

This programme has been delivered previously in England, and we are proud to be one of the first organisations to deliver the programme in Scotland.

We are thankful to the parents who joined us for this programme and are wishing them all the best in this new chapter.

“I found the Baby Steps programme to be so helpful before and after the baby arrived. Coming to classes gave me a reason to get up and out when I was pregnant which helped by mental health a lot. Being involved gave me a purpose, but it also gave me support, reassurance and useful tools for when the baby arrived. Since having our babies, it’s been amazing to see all the participants and new babies and watch everyone thrive. It’s so good to hear others stories and know you are not alone dealing with issues or concerns that come up during the different stages of a baby’s first few weeks”.
