Support Us

Home-Start Glasgow South grows every year – with more referrals, more families and more support offered all around the Southside of Glasgow. You can help us to continue our mission by becoming a supporter, and there are lots of ways in which you can help. Below are some of the ways you or your organisation can get involved:

Donate Online

If you have other commitments and don’t have the time to join us at a fundraising event or volunteer, you can still make a one-off donation or become a regular Home-Start Glasgow South donor.

You can donate online here using our online form.

Corporate Partners

Whether you are a local or national company, a partnership with Home-Start Glasgow South could bring great rewards to your organisation.

To find out more about our service and how we could work together, please contact by telephone 0141 570 8735 or email the team by clicking below.

Charity Events

Your local school, college or community centre is a great place to raise funds for Home-Start Glasgow South. Whether you want to hold a bake sale, challenge yourself to a sponsored silence or even organise your own talent competition – there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Schools can also get involved through the Youth Philanthropy Initiative – more information can be found here

Take On A Challenge

If you would like to take on a challenge of your own or hold a charity event in Glasgow with friends, family members or even your work colleagues, we would love to hear about it and support you in any way we can.

Become A Fundraising Volunteer

We’d love if you would consider becoming a regular Home-Start Glasgow South fundraising volunteer, and if you have great ideas for charity events in Glasgow, we would love to help!

If you could help us at one of our events, or host your own, please get in touch and we will aim to support you wherever we can.

Grants, Trusts & Foundations

Support from charitable grants, trusts and foundations has provided us with a solid foundation allowing us to develop our services to ensure we meet the needs of the local community. It has enabled us to provide more activities for families, train and recruit more volunteers and set up new groups across South Glasgow.

If you are a trust or foundation interesting in hearing how we could work together, please get in touch by emailing theteam@homestartglasowsouth.org.uk.

Leave Us A Gift In Your Will

Leaving a legacy is a very personal decision. By choosing to leave a gift in your will, you can help us make sure that help is available. Please feel free to call us on 0141 570 8735. We are happy to chat through the ways in which your legacy can make a difference.

Friends Legal offers a fair, fixed-fee Will service to Home-Start Glasgow South supporters, friends and families. Friends Legal offers our supporters a quality Will service at a reduced rate for qualified legal professionals.

You can book an appointment by contacting friends legal on 0333 3580 583 or by visiting https://www.friends-legal.co.uk/by-your-side/

If you would like to make a donation in recognition of the legal advice you receive it will help to provide more support for children and families. Legal advice will help you make the best choice for your loved ones as well as your charities. Your solicitor will insert the appropriate clause into your will. They will need to quote our name and charity number: ‘Home-Start Glasgow South, charity number: SC 030131′.

Thank you for thinking about investing in future services for local families with young children.

It is as simple as signing up, nominating your charity and browsing as normal.
