Families at our Warm Place Castlemilk had a fantastic Bookbug session with Ann Marie from Castlemilk Library on Monday 18th November.
Reading with your children has many benefits for your child, including:
– Feeling more secure and develop deep bonds with parents/carers
– Developing better mental wellbeing and self esteem
– Having better brain development, attentional and cognitive ability
– Improvement in speech and language development and literacy skills.
